Originally from France, Romi moved to the UK over 20 years ago after travelling around Australia and working in a Joinery shop in France. Finding his feet in Plymouth, Romi joined Princess Yachts as a Carpenter and worked there for almost 20 years specialising in crafting beautiful bespoke furniture pieces.

Romi brings to SETAG an unmatched attention to detail, with ingrained quality and care. He enjoys the varying workday with having to think on his feet as all our projects are unique and seeing the hard work pay off when comparing the completed end product to its before condition. Working within a team of good people is essential to both Romi and SETAG.

 

Romi will ensure your yacht is Remastered to your bespoke requirement, to the highest quality, with precision attention to detail. Working with a good team of people is essential to the ethos of SETAG.

Outside of work, Romi is a keen sportsman and enjoys spending time with his family and friends.

Chris has been a Carpenter within the Princess world for over 19 years, since leaving school. He started his career in the marine industry as an Apprentice at Princess welcomed personally by Chris Gates, and most recently as Section Lead on his own boat line – now once again joining Chris at SETAG.
